PEPPERL+FUCHS KFD2-ER-Ex1.W.LB
The KFD2-ER-Ex1.W.LB is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications. It functions as an encoder repeater power supply, suitable for connecting NAMUR sensors or dry contacts situated in hazardous areas. This device supplies power to the field device and transfers the input signal frequency to its transistor outputs in the safe area. It features line fault detection (LFD) for monitoring short circuits or lead breakages in the field circuit, indicated by a separate output and front-panel LEDs. The wide voltage range power supply enhances application flexibility.
