The Siemens LFE10 is a flame safeguard control unit designed for the supervision of forced draft gas burners of intermittent operation (non-permanently operating burners). It provides flame monitoring using either an ionization probe or a UV flame detector QRA… ensuring safe burner start-up and shutdown sequences. The LFE10 checks for the presence of a flame during operation and controls the fuel valve accordingly, initiating a safety shutdown if the flame is lost or if fault conditions occur.
